About Us
Established in the year 1973, Reverend John Robert Thwaytes founded Caesar School in the memory of his maternal grandfather, James Theodore Caesar with a view to provide educational scope for the destitute children. But the essence of Caesar school attracted other people of the society and soon it became a community school. The school started its journey with only 68 students and today more than 2000 students are studying here. Ever since its inception the school has crossed many hurdles and finally it has reached the 50 year landmark. The seedling that was planted by Father John has grown into a huge tree with prospect of fruits, shade and hope.
In these long fifty years of its glory , many struggled and toiled hard . The former principals, teaching and non- teaching staff have worked dedicatedly and whole-heartedly for the upliftment of this grand institution.
Caesar school has produced tremendous scholars who are now established and with every passing year, it has continued to do the same. Along with curricular activities, the students of Caesar have shown tremendous ability in co-curricular activities as well. Moreover, the school has participated and has shown keen interest in variety of social work like tree plantation, dengue awareness camp, save drive save life, etc.
Today, the students of Caesar are working in India and abroad as scientists, doctors, engineers, lawyers, teachers, professors etc. All are quite settled and well developed in their own field.
The Present principal, Mr Dilip Kumar Sarkar says , " It gives me immense pleasure to say that we have crossed the milestone of 50 long years and we shall continue to flourish in the upcoming years. I would like to thank the teaching, non-teaching staff , the parents and all the stakeholders for their continuous support and cooperation in taking caesar to newer heights."
